2016 Letter

Reflection:

This is my 2016 letter.  I did well writing what kind of teacher I would like and what I was learning.  Next time I shouldn't copy the letter that much.

Math Evidence

                                          It was easy to add the grams and kilograms up.

                                                   Next time I need bigger numbers.

Tree Planting

  Room 13 helped Mrs Meikle with tree planting.  We had to find some trees and dig a hole like a square then leaver it.  Then put the plant into the hole and put all the dirt you got out of the hole in the hole.  It was really fun. We planted a lot of trees.

Character Description

Reflection:
This is my reading evidence.  I was writing a description about Bethany.  It was tricky because i kept forgetting to put the title and capital letters.  Next time I need to remember my capital letters.  When I was writing about Bethany from "How to tame a bully" it was hard because I have only read the book once and I couldn't remember much stuff about her.  The next time I could read the book again.

WALT change mixed fractions into improper fractions

Reflection:
I think I did it well, because I knew I needed 1 more whole and I knew how many bits I needed.

WALT: use inference skills

Reflection:
I am finding it ok, because I am skimming and scanning and finding lots of key words.

Next time: I think I still need some more practice, so it feels easier.

The Snowy Holiday

Reflection:
I like my recount, because I used lot of describing words.

Reflection:

I am proud of my work, because I did well doing dry brushing and using good painting techniques.  I like my artwork, because it looks cool.

WALT use full stops and capital letters

Reflection:
I think I did well using capital letters for a place name and for the names of people, also I did well using full stops at the end of an idea.

WALT improve our reading milage

Reflection:
I am enjoying reading, because it's interesting reading about different topics.

I think I did well, because I connected Tony's experience with my experience.
Next time I need to read the story more carefully, because I didn't find enough things that were the same.
